This is the rare Bergner bisque socket head with three faces, two of which are hidden inside the attached paper mache hood, and which can be alternately revealed by turning the knob at the top of head. Including crying face with brown glass eyes and modeled tears, smiling face with brown glass eyes and impressed dimples, and sleeping face with modeled closed eyelids. The bisque is perfect.
She wears an antique white-wear gown and bonnet with her original lace inside the hood and original blonde mohair wig. Original carton torso, composition ball-jointed arms and legs. Excellent condition. Carl Bergner, the model was registered in 1893.
